SkyWest Virtual Training Academy
Our pilot training program is built to support professional VATSIM operations through structured theory lessons, phpVMS Training Academy testing, instructor-led flight training, and practical evaluations.
Structured Pilot Ratings
Training is organized into rating-based courses covering private pilot fundamentals, IFR procedures, commercial multi-engine operations, and airline transport-level standards.
phpVMS Testing
Students complete theory lessons, knowledge checks, written exams, and course progression through the SkyWest Virtual phpVMS Training Academy.
Instructor-Led Training
Qualified instructors provide briefings, supervised simulator training, VATSIM network flights, debriefings, remedial training, and practical evaluation preparation.
